Coalition Technologies is seeking a motivated, organized, and client-focused Remote Digital Strategist to support prospective and existing clients with website design, development, eCommerce, SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, email marketing, and online marketing strategy.

This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, digital marketing knowledge, sales experience, project coordination abilities, and the confidence to advise clients on web and marketing solutions. You will help prospective clients understand their needs, develop proposals, prepare contracts and scopes of work, and support a smooth handoff from sales to production teams.

We are looking for talented and diligent candidates who perform well on our skills assessments. Strong skills test performance may be considered even if a candidate does not meet every preferred experience or educational background requirement.

Digital Strategist / Sales Responsibilities


As a Digital Strategist, your duties will include:

  • Following up with every prospective client in a timely and professional manner
  • Learning about prospective and existing clients’ businesses, products, services, goals, and overall objectives
  • Advising clients on the best website design, development, eCommerce, and online marketing solutions for their needs
  • Acting as a trusted adviser and partner rather than simply a salesperson
  • Maintaining awareness of industry trends, digital marketing opportunities, and web solutions that may benefit clients
  • Recommending website design, SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, email marketing, and online marketing strategies to prospects and current clients
  • Identifying opportunities to grow client accounts through thoughtful recommendations and upselling
  • Developing proposals for prospective clients
  • Preparing contracts and detailed scopes of work with clear, actionable strategies for internal teams
  • Supporting proper client implementation and handoff from sales to production teams and project managers
  • Providing timely and effective responses to client requests for proposals, follow-up information, and strategy details
  • Attending sales meetings, training sessions, and internal strategy discussions
  • Providing updates to management using company-supplied sales forecasting and tracking programs

Required Skills and Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Online marketing experience, including SEO, Google Ads, social media marketing, and email marketing
  • Experience with one or more website or eCommerce platforms, such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or BigCommerce
  • Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and advisory skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • A confident speaking presence, strong command of your voice, and the ability to communicate with authority
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience managing complex projects or client needs
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to follow up consistently
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Self-motivated, professional, and positive approach to work
  • Ability to explain development processes and technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Familiarity with AI and large language model tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or Perplexity to improve workflow
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
  • Passion for growing an established company with the energy of a startup
  • Reliable remote workstation, including a fast computer, microphone, speakers, reliable internet, and reliable power

Preferred Skills


The following experience is preferred but not required:

  • SEO and Google Ads experience
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience preparing sales proposals, contracts, scopes of work, or client strategy documents
  • Experience with CRM, sales tracking, sales forecasting, or project management tools
  • Experience with multiple monitors for remote productivity

Remote Work Environment


Coalition Technologies is a fully remote company. Our team works remotely with the support of time tracking software, structured communication, and a company culture designed to help remote team members succeed. We have supported remote team members for more than a decade and welcome qualified applicants from around the world.

Compensation


For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
