CT Marketing Agency is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Junior Web Developer to support website development, responsive design, front-end development, and web production tasks. This role is ideal for a beginner-level developer, recent graduate, or early-career candidate with basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, web design, and eCommerce platforms.

As a Junior Web Developer, you will help transform design files into responsive HTML/CSS templates, build and support websites on platforms such as WordPress, BigCommerce, and Shopify, optimize web images, and assist with high-quality website production work.

This is a junior position. Freshers and college graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to help you succeed in the role, and there will be an assessment after a 3-month period to review your performance.

We are looking for talented and diligent candidates who perform well on our skills assessments. Strong skills test performance may be considered even if a candidate does not meet every preferred experience or educational background requirement.

Junior Web Developer Responsibilities


As a Junior Web Developer, your duties will include:

  • Transforming complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect HTML5/CSS3 templates
  • Creating responsive website designs
  • Building and supporting websites with WordPress, BigCommerce, and Shopify
  • Working with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create images optimized for the web
  • Working with version control systems such as Git or SVN
  • Working under tight deadlines
  • Handling multiple projects and tasks at the same time
  • Producing high-quality work with strong attention to detail

Required Skills and Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Beginner-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
  • Understanding of web design and eCommerce ecosystems
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and tasks
  • Highly organized work style with strong attention to detail

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time

The following experience is preferred but not required:

  • Prior experience in the web design industry
  • Experience with WordPress, BigCommerce, or Shopify

  • College coursework, training, or projects related to web design, web development, or front-end development

Remote Work Environment


CT Marketing Agency is a fully remote company. Our team works remotely with the support of time tracking software, structured communication, and a company culture designed to help remote team members succeed. We have supported remote team members for more than a decade and welcome qualified applicants from around the world.

Compensation


For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges from $15 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
