- 6+ years Estimating as a Job Cost Estimator in the Aerospace Sheet Metal Parts Manufacturing Industry
- Knowledge of competitive labor rates, outside processing rates and material cost for Sheet Metal Aerospace parts and sub-assemblies.
- Strong Communication skills, technical writing skills, typing, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey critical manufacturing information to Senior Management and Leadership in a professional and presentable manner.
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to prepare cost estimates in a timely manner, and sometimes expedite when needed in this fast-paced working environment.
- Identify, understand and meet project schedule deliverables
- 3+ years Military and Commercial Aerospace Manufacturing and Fabrication experience strongly preferred.
- 3+ years Planning, Supply Chain or Project Management experience required - equivalent manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of Planning experience.
- Report savvy, produce and interpret reports as required.
- Strong leadership experience.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, management and customers.
- Ability to identify business risks and escalate with solutions as necessary.
- Ability to make independent and informed decisions.
- Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles recommended
- Problem-solving skills, troubleshooting skills, and teamwork minded.
- HS Graduate required and College (AA, BA or BS)
- Job Position is Regular Full Time (FT), M-F 5 - 1:30 p.m. + OT required to complete RFQ demands and deadlines. Saturday 5-10 a.m.

- Wage Range: $40-$48 p/hour depending on Education, work experience in Aerospace Estimating, Communication skills, Organization skills, Departmental Development Skills and Management Skills.
